How much does it cost?

7U, 8U, 9U, 10/11U, 6th Grade Football - $225 - Plus Tackle Equipment Rental Deposit (If needed) 

4/5U & 6U Flag Football - $150

New Cheerleaders - $330

Returning Cheerleaders - $130 (Not Applicable for 2024)

What equipment does my player need?

Equipment rentals are available through WSYFA

Tackle - Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Practice Pants, Practice Jersey, Cleats, Mouthpiece

Flag - Helmet, Flags

*Flag also requires a mouthpiece- this must be purchased by parent/guardian separately*

Are there tryouts?

No tryouts unless we get more than 32 players per team.

Can my child pick his number?

Returning players will get to keep their numbers from the previous season. New players will choose 3 numbers and will be assigned which number is available.

What is agility camp? Is it mandatory?

Agility camp is a free camp to get players in shape for the season. Camp will be held every Wednesday 6pm-8pm from May-July at Brewer High School. Not mandatory.

How do players get fitted for pads?

WSYFA will announce the fitting date and location via email and other notifications. Fittings are mandatory. Only one date available. If missed, parents must provide sizes.

How much is the game admission fee?

Adult 18+ - $8

Senior - $5

Child - FREE

Does WSYFA monitor for head injuries?

Coaches and Directors on Duty (DOD) will help monitor for head injuries, but are not certified doctors.

Can I volunteer to coach?

Yes, contact us to fill out an application. Once teams are finalized, you may contact the coach to see if they need additional coaches. Each adult involved must complete a background check.

How does WSYFA select coaches?

Each person who shows interest in coaching must be dedicated to coaching and must speak in front of the WSYFA board, where coaches will be voted in.
